Job Description
SON DESIGN HOUSE is a premium Áo dài and womenswear brand based in Ho Chi Minh City, focused on creativity and refined craftsmanship.
You will directly participate in the development and completion of premium Áo dài and womenswear designs — where craftsmanship is created by highly skilled artisans. We are currently building our first atelier team for the brand’s next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop silhouettes and pattern-making techniques for premium Áo dài and womenswear designs, ensuring alignment with the product spirit and brand direction.
- Collaborate with the Design team to develop patterns according to product requirements.
- Create and revise patterns based on feedback from the Design department.
- Participate in sample sewing to ensure accurate fit and technical standards.
- Grade approved patterns into different sizes.
- Take responsibility for technical execution from concept stage to final production.
- Inspect sample product quality to ensure technical and aesthetic standards are met.
- Complete technical documentation, grading files, and production support documents.
- Perform additional tasks assigned in accordance with company objectives and operations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pattern making, especially in the luxury fashion industry.
- Preference for candidates with experience in Áo dài and highly technical womenswear products.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, material properties, and sewing techniques.
- Ability to create both paper patterns and digital patterns.
- Ability to sew samples.
- Detail-oriented with good aesthetic sense and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in an atelier environment.
- Positive mindset, eager to learn and grow.
- Honest and highly responsible.
